580 Split was an Oakland-based journal of arts and letters founded in 1998 by graduate students of the Literatures and Languages Department at Mills College. It appears to be defunct, with the most recent issue released Apr 30, 2022. It ran 25 issues. 580 Split has
interviewed Anne Carson, Lydia Davis, Bhanu Kapil, Latasha Nevada Diggs, among others. The website is still live.
